A Wagon Full of Fun

Blogger would not let me arrange my pictures... get ready for a lot of captions!

We had a wagon full of fun at Silas's birthday party! It was perfectly quaint with family and Si's best bud here to celebrate. (I am missing pictures of the Smith family, the Blakeneys, and Graunt Kay...we know you were here and we love you!) Of course, I about drove myself crazy making sure everything was absolutely perfect. Of course, nothing went as I had played it in my head. Of course, the party was wonderful anyway. I guess over the years I will learn not to stress...or maybe I will just do it every time! Ha!

Silas decided that, since he was 1, morning naps were too juvenile. He skipped it. That totally messed up any last minute plans I had, but, thankfully, wonderful Aunt Cait flew in to the rescue. I don't think I could have pulled off the cute party I had planned without her help, that is for sure! She went above and beyond the aunt's call of duty. Thanks Cait!

Silas decided that since his party began at 11, he would go ahead and take a nap around 10:45. He slept through the first half of his party, but he was in a great mood to celebrate when he awoke!

The presents were overly abundant, the cake was absolutely delicious (Thanks Gruncle Barry!!! We missed you and G-daddy both!!!), the company was excellent, the baby was joyful, and the mommy saved her tears for that night. I can't believe I now have a 1 year old! 12 months post to come!
